Miller Parris Solicitors, based in Broadwater, Worthing, recently donated £1,000 to the Worthing and Adur Fund.

The fund was set up in 2011 in partnership with Worthing and Adur Chamber of Commerce and is supported by local people and businesses keen to help build a permanent endowment fund, which will support local charities and community groups now and in the future.

Mike Metters, Partner of Miller Parris said “We are delighted to be able to donate to this worthwhile fund. The Worthing and Adur Fund has already been able to make such a difference to so many local groups that we are proud to be associated with it.”

Karen Simporis Chairperson of the Fund also commented “The Worthing and Adur Fund is thrilled to receive Miller Parris’s donation which has helped boost the fund to over £67,000. We’ve used the interest from the investment to give over £3,000 to local charities and voluntary groups this year such as lSailability in Shoreham which is sailing for disabled groups. We look forward to growing the fund much more and will have another round of grants available in October.”
